More than busy with development work for Microsoft Windows 9 and Server 9
support in SetupBuilder 8.2. The SB compiler can already generate Windows
9-aware applications.

Cool!

That leads me to the question, what changes we have to expect in generating our
EXEs with Clarion.

But I am confident that you will let us know in time.

Thanks for your pioneering, Friedrich!

Hi Arnor,

<G>. But first I have to test it on the "real" Windows 9.

BTW, some developers still have to support older Windows operation systems.
The new SetupBuilder Windows 9-aware application loader technology is
backward compatible with Windows 9.x, NT4 and ME. It supports all the new
SDL-required compiler/linker flags, but can still be used on completely
outdated Windows operating systems. Setup files created with other
installation vendors' products report an "Setup.exe file expects a newer
version of Windows. Upgrade your Windows version." in this scenario. <g>

Windows 10. I did not expect this :-( I followed the launch event live,
and nearly fell from the chair.

I think they didn't expect this, too, because the download links all go to
