View Full Version : FTP Upload error 6

I get an FTP upload error 6 on the first attempt to upload in each session
(started the last week I guess).
The errorcode is the same I had with NetTalk on first mail attempt this
spring.
Can I safely assume that this is once again related to my AV program,
Norman?

Bjarne,

Error 6 in this case is Windows Error Code 6 (ERROR_INVALID_HANDLE). I
assume your FTP Location specification is incorrect. What do you have in
your FTP field?

Hi Friedrich

Your assumption is false, since it is only the first attempt that fail, the
second and all other attempts work just fine.
Compile
Answer Yes to upload - Get Error 6
Compile
Answer Yes to upload - FTP upload success

Seriously, I doubt it has anything to do with SB in itself. I had the same
error with SMTP both with NetTalk and Clarion's own. It must be something
else, unless you know you changed something in the upload process recently
(BTW, love that I don't get the question when running Test)

If nobody else report the same problem, I'll just belive it is AV - it is
the main reason I have troubles anyway.

Hi Bjarne,

Aha, okay. Then I agree, it must be something else (AV). Nothing changed
in the FTP process. The only thing changed is that TEST does not fire the
FTP event any longer.
