Closed my freight brokerage business after 35 years and taking a
vacation for the first time in quite a while. However, still have the
software to take care of. It is all done electronically with the
exception of people that order one state which I have to manually create
each time.

The only change to the package uploaded is the one state tps file. I
have tried just creating/uploading a zip and have the installer
download/expand but it does not always work.

So, got everything on this new laptop except Comodo. Can it also be on
the laptop, or can I permanently sign the install on this machine and
rebuild the install (same exe) on the laptop. Only thing that ever
changes is the small tps file.

Thanks for any advice on how to solve.

Sure, you can have the code-signing stuff on your second machine.

1. You'll need signtool from Microsoft. Easiest it on the Help menu in
SetupBuilder 10, "Get Microsoft Sign Tool"
2. That may or may not get you capicom.dll. If not, try here:

3. Copy the PFX file you're using for code-signing on your existing
machine. And make sure the configuration in SB is set correctly (copy
what's on your old machine).

Thank you Jane,

Got it set up. This solved the problem of sending a single state while
on the road.

Hi Don, Jane,

I have code signing on 3 machines and all I need is to set up the
signtool (don't recall having to deal with the capicom.dll, but do
recall the name from some distant past;) Then copy the pfx file, set up
SB and I'm good to go.

Now I'm up for a new certificate this month so wish me luck;)

Best regards,
