Hi Lee,

Perhaps you are using an old and expired key? Use the one that we sent on
1/30/2018. I checked this one minute ago and your key is working fine.

That's the one I used. I just installed the most recent build before
this one and it accepted it as expected.

I even downloaded the installer again to be sure.

sb100_5710_dev.exe installs with the subscription key I have but not
the new sb100_5995_dev.exe.

Even tried to install on top of the existing version and it brought up
the subscription key intact but it still fails to move on.

I'm dead in the water... HELP!

See attached screenshot. Your "new" Feb-2019 key worked fine!

I have copy and pasted the key (valid until 2019!) from your original
registration email into an ASCII text file and sent it to you one minute
ago.

When you start the sb100_5995_dev.exe, paste the Feb-2019 key into the
maintenance key dialog.

Does this work now?

Can this be installed over existing 10 version? Or this is separated new
version?

Hi Guennadi,

Yes, good question!

You can install it over an existing SB10 version. And of course, you can
"rollback" this pre-release (#5995) to the original install if you want. Or
just install the next pre-release (#60xx) and final version over it.

Friedrich, great, I see. Honestly speaking I am still working with SB8
but have installed SB10 too. With a Clarion11 I will be needed to switch
using SB10 :)

SB10 is fully backward compatible, so just switch from SB8 to SB10 :-)
There are tons of fixes and improvements. And in the soon coming #6xxx
builds there is even support for SSL.

All,

we'll make a first SetupBuilder 2018 Build #600x release available this
coming weekend to support SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). This ensures that all
data passed between the web server (https) and the SetupBuilder installer
remain private and integral.

BTW, we'll provide SSL components without dependencies to other runtime
libraries; your customers do not have to install a special VC++ runtime
before running your SSL-enabled installer or update. It's even backward
compatible with Windows XP. Stay tuned for more information soon.
