I'm beginning to feel a bit stupid, but I can see no way of ordering a
Personal CSC via the link from Lindersoft.

Once I click on the 'Order Now' button I am at comodo with a process
that requires 'Your Corp Details'. And so it goes. Then they want to
validate us as a business, which we are not operating these days.

And they can't convert an order for a Business CSC to a Personal one, I
have checked!

If anyone else has done this I'd appreciate some guidance.

Thanks.

Hi John -

I haven't ordered a personal one, but perhaps you could try the "chat"
option on the support ticket page for guidance on how to proceed. I
was told that the process will entail a face-to-face validation with a
notary. I don't know if it's the same face-to-face instructions that I
had to do for my EV certificate, but you can check my recent comments
in this NG for what I was told to use.

Unless someone in the chat session knows how to salvage your order,
you can ask for a refund on your first order by using the support
ticketing system. https://sectigo.com/support-ticket. Notice the
"Refunds" option on the "Reason for Ticket" dropdown. It took several
days before they responded to my refund request, but it did happen.

Thanks, good idea.

I believe it is. Even though all the links to the doc mention EV, the
doc itself doesn't!
