I normally have two monitors, I'm remote today, and only have my
laptop.
Trying to open SB, it opens, but it appears it is opening "off screen".

How do I reset it, so that it is opening on my laptop, only screen
avaialble?

Brent,

please try the following (this will reset all your SetupBuildewr IDE
settings):

1. Close (kill) tghe SetupBuilder IDE (if it is running).

2. Go to c:\Users\<YourProfileName>\AppData\Roaming\Lindersoft\SetupBuilder
10

3. Cut and paste the file SB10.LIC to a safe location.

4. Start the SetupBuilder IDE.

5. Send me the original SB10.LIC and I'll try to reset the screen position
values.

Hi Friedrich,

Thanks for the reply. But I got back to my "normal" work setup today.
With both of my montiors, it opens fine. I guess I just need to
remember to move SB to my main monitor before closing so that the
window position is not off screen when the other monitor is not
connected.

Is there a way in the app to detect this issue and reset the window
position so that it opens on the other screen?

This is probably a problem with my apps? Haven't tested that scenario
before.

Thanks.

Brent,

have you tried to move those window with the keyboard?

Keep Windows-key pressed and then use the arrow-keys to move the window from
the invisible screen to that single monitor.

Maybe this helps.

Wolfgang

Thanks for that hot tip. I didn't know that keyboard function, but I
think that would have worked!

Hi Brent,

I'll try to add a command line switch to the IDE so we can reset the window
position.

Thank you for your suggestion !!!
