View Full Version : Run Windows Installer Issue

Hi To All,

I am trying to install msxml6.msi as part of my install. I am using the Run Windows Installer function. I browse to where the msxml6.msi file is located and select it. The Start Parameter field is defaulted to /i, which I kept. I am now trying to run my install on a test machine. When it gets to the Run Windows Installer function it displays a window showing the different options for running the msiexec.exe.

Is anyone else having issues? It's probably just me. Any help is appreciated.

Sharon

Sharon,

The following works fine here on all machines (see screenshot).

Hope this helps.

Sharon,

Support forwarded it to me. IMO, you have a "long filename" problem. "Double-quotes" around the file specification should help.

Hi Friedrich,

That did the trick.

Thanks for the help.
