Hi Chris,

As Jeff showed you - the generic answer is yes.

Just be aware that under Vista - your program will be running in elevated
status.

So if this executable you want to run uses the login name (usually a CSIDL)
to determine the locations of data (such as "My Documents") then it will
NOT be pointing at the right location.

In XP, we all got used to the idea that our power users "lived as
Administrator".

Under Vista - even if the user is logged in as Administrator - when it
comes to running programs, they are just another user.

This is by design and it closed up a lot of security holes in the OS.

But "Chris the User" and "Chris the Administrator" are not the same as far
as Vista is concerned. Therefore the "personal" locations for file folders
and Registry locations are different too.
