We installed VS2005 and SQL Express and suddenly our InstallShield 11 stopped working (seems to be caused by dot met framework 2). We called technical support but they just wanted to sell a maintenance plan :(

Question: does your SetupBuilder 5 works even if VS2005 and SQL Express (or Developer) are installed?

We have to release our new product next week!

Of course, SetupBuilder 5.2 even works fine if VS2005 / SQL Express / .NET2 is installed.

Just wanted to post an update. We converted our installation from InstallShield 11 to SetupBuilder 5.2 Developer Edition without any problem. We had a 4.2 MB setup.exe file with InstallShield. Now with SetupBuilder 5.2 the size went down to 2.6 MB (same functionality!). And the installation process is much faster now!!!

Correction. The setup.exe size reduced to 2.1 MB!
