Web installs - ? problem

Hi,
I did my web install and left the Host Directory blank. That may be an issue because the installer seemed to want a directory name in there. It structured the GET as www.pdmg.com/ /filename.00001 . It left a space in there and of course, it did not work.
I put in a subdirectory name and moved the files and then it was OK! It structured the GET as www.pdmg.com/pdmguser/filename.00001.

Hi Ron,

No, not a problem with SetupBuilder. You can leave the "Host Directory" field empty. I think you have a server (configuration?) problem.

I have uploaded a very simple test for you (not code-signed).

www.lindersoft.com/test.exe

Run the above test.exe and it will install two bitmap files into the c:\test folder. It will not modify your system in any way. "Host Directory" is empty.

BTW, I'll remove the above test.exe in 48 hours from our servers.
