View Full Version : New Project... Doesn't work: Bug??

Until recently I have used SetupBuilder for one (big) project only.
But this morning I wanted to start another small project to try some things out, because the big project takes a long time to compile.

But then i found out that when i click "File"-"New"-"Empty Project" nothing happens!
Also the "New Project" button and the "Create a new project" (with submenu) show the same behaviour (I guess they use the same handler or something).
Clicking the "New Project" option when i allready have a project open, takes me to the "Get Started" screen.

So now i can't create any new projects, except for saving my existing project as a new project, and then clearing everything.

Is this a bug? or just a wrong setting or something else?

David,

I think it's an incorrect setting, not a bug.

Check if your default project path exists. Tools | Options... | File Locations -> Project Location

Does this help?

Yes! it did the trick!

Somehow the directory had been changed from
"D:\SetupBuilder 6 Projects" to "H:\\SetupBuilder 6 Projects" (notice the double "\")

Thanks a lot!:)
