View Full Version : File association - Command

Hi Friedrich,

In the help for "Create File Association" there is:

"Command
[in] Enter the command as it should appear on the right-click menu"

This is placed into the Shell/open/command/default value in front of
the program as specified in the "File" entry in the "Create File
Association"

If I place "Open Build Automator Project" into the "Command" the key
looks like this:

Open Build Automator Project "C:\Program Files\Icetips Creative\Build
Automator\BuildAutomator.exe" "%1"

I thought that this would be linked to the right click menu in
Explorer so that it would appear when right clicking on the .aprj
files.

I'm not exactly sure what this is supposed to do. I don't recall ever
seeing code in front of the program name in the registry like that but
I certainly haven't looked at all of'em<g> If I leave it and double
click on a .aprj file I get "Program error" before it ever enters my
program.

Best regards,

Very good question <g>. To be honest, I don't know why this entry field is
there. It's used in the .msi version only.

Removed in the latest internal source codes now.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
