Hi Friedrich,

When I call SB from the Build Automator after updating to 6.8 I get
error GEN1091. No problems in the latest build of 6.7 that I had
prior to updating. Have another BA user who gets the same error.
Will investigate further in the morning.

Forgot: I'm testing this on XP. Nothing has changed except I updated
from 6.7 to 6.8.

That means there is an incorrect 0000.lib or sbkernel.lib in the \Bin32
folder.

What's the date/time stamp of those two files?

Friedrich

BTW, please also ask the your BA user what time/date stamp he has for
0000.lib and sbkernel.lib.

0000.lib: May 25, 2008, 15:55 - Version: 6.8.0.1
sbkernel.lib: May 25, 2008, 15:53 - no version info

Note that this error happens ONLY when I call SB 6.8 from the Build
Automator - i.e. from the command line, NOT when I compile the SB
project in SB.

Hmm, perhaps it is related to this:

I'll check this.

Sounds like the same thing. I've tried couple of very small test
projects and it was the same thing. They both errored out with 1091.
The latest build of 6.7 had no problems (I compiled with it about 50
times yesterday<g>)

I can reproduce this here. This is a serious showstopper. Item in review.

This is a new feature in SB68 to prevent you from compiling an outdated
installer runtime into your installer. Well, when doing a command line
compile it prevent you from compiling at all now <g>

I'll make a hotfix available.
