View Full Version : Convert mapped drive to UNC?

Hello,

I don't see a way to do this in the documentation, but, is there a function in SB that will convert
a mapped drive to UNC? I am trying to get away from mapped drives and when I create/update a
shortcut I want the "Start in" to be a UNC name. If I run my install from a server it puts UNC in
the start in, if I run it from a mapped drive it uses the drive letter and path.

Thanks,

Tony

The function "Get System Information (UNC From Network Drive Letter)" should
do it.

Does this help?
