    Hello,

    No, this is not an issue, it's a feature. A password protected installer automatically disables the "silent mode" (see attached F1 online help screenshot). Of course, you can develop an installer that supports password passing via the command line to support a password protected silent mode setup. Absolutely no problem. But by default (to protect your hard work), a password protected install does not run in silent mode.

    Hi,
    From parent installer, I am calling a child installer in silent mode, by putting /s in its command line. Still the child installer is not executing in silent mode and it prompts with license, password, destfolder dialogs. Parent installer is SB8 and the child installer is SB6. Is it a issue?
