    Hi Allan,

I'm afraid this change would confuse most forum users

BTW, most of our main competitors also use the "standard" vBulletin date/time format:

    Hi Friedrich

    Thanks for the quick reply

I can understand that vBulletin is preventing to many alternatives on this. However may I suggest a small change on this that might be an option to select i vBulletin.

One other forum that I use on a daily basis is these forums from Data Access Corporation regarding Visual DataFlex. They also use vBulletin and they have this date setting as an example of my last activity on the forums:

    Last Activity:8-Jul-2013 02:48 PM

    Would that be an option?

Re: Change date setting for the forums?

    Allan,

Unfortunately, this is completely out of our control. vBulletin is the world's leading community software and the format in which the date is presented on vBulletin pages is the US Format (e.g., 04-25-2013). The format in which the time is presented on all vBulletin pages is the AM/PM Time Format (e.g., 11:15 PM). There is no "per-user" format available.

Change date setting for the forums?

    Hi there.

The date in this forum are not set to European for my user and I can not find the setting in my user profile to change it?

An example to show here is the Welcome message at the top right of the forum:
"You last visited: 06-28-2013 at 12:06 PM".

The date is a mix of US and European date "MM/DD/YYYY" and "DD-MM-YYYY".

What I would like to have is an option to set the date to the local date settings. I.e. in Denmark that would be "You last visited: 28-06-2013 at 12:06". And note that we use 24-hour (military) time instead of AM/PM.

    Regards,
    Allan
