Perhaps WD can "see" it from the Personal certificate store?

    Bob,

Aha, okay. Unfortunately, I don't know how WD code-signs executables

Thanks you Friedrich, I did that and it worked out fine.

I would like to know how to get WD to "see" that cert.

    Hello,

    I don't know how WD code-signs executables.

But you only need the .PFX file and then let SetupBuilder code-sign the WD generated .exe for you. Just export the certificate from the IE certificate store and use the "#code-sign application..." compiler directive in SetupBuilder.

How to install Comodo Certificate such that WinDev will find it

Does anyone know how to install a certificate from Comodo in such a manner that WinDev will find it for its exe creation and code signing step?

I realize that this is a long shot asking here, but perhaps there is a WD user out there who has been down this road.

WD sees 2 certs that are from me. The windows cert manager sees those two plus the Comodo cert.

I am lost at this point. any help appreciated. Thanks
