Re: Stopping and Starting a Pervasive Database Engine Darrel, If is is a service, you can use the "Edit Service..." function. It supports "Start", "Stop", "Remove", "Pause" and "Resume" service. Hope this helps. Friedrich

Stopping and Starting a Pervasive Database Engine What is the easiest way to stop a Pervasive Btreive database engine? When I run my install, I want to make sure there are no files locked or in use. I found the 'NET STOP' and 'NET START' but I think I would have to run these in a batch file.
