Re: Cannot download server manifest file... Yeah, that works fine! Thanks Friedrich!
Re: Cannot download server manifest file... The following should get you going: http://www.lindersoft.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30131 http://www.lindersoft.com/forums/sho...=7792#post7792 There are more MIME related threads, but this should do it. Friedrich
Re: Cannot download server manifest file... Well, if Internet Explorer can't download the file... <g> See attached screenshot (404 - File or directory not found error on "watchit.wud"). You have a typical MIME problem (your server seems to be IIS, right?). This is not related to SetupBuilder at all. It's web server related. Your web master only has to "fix" the MIME thing and you are done. Does this help? Friedrich
Re: Cannot download server manifest file... http://www.modest.nl/v5/watchit.wud is where the WUD file and the exe are. http://www.modest.nl/v5/inst_ww_581520121217.exe downloads mighty fine in IE.
Re: Cannot download server manifest file... No I can't, but I can download the update executable manually using IE. Both are auto-uploaded by SB7.
Re: Cannot download server manifest file... Mark, Can you download the manifest file via Internet Explorer Friedrich
Cannot download server manifest file... Hi there, Since we've moved webservers people cannot use the auto-update feature in our solution. I thought i could imagine why... Created the FTP user the older wupdate could use, same username and pass. Still no go. Checked out other things but.... Do you have any tips to help us get going? Thanks! Mark
