I wonder if its the hardware acceleration issue popping up again, as
mentioned here.

I saw this in W2k and XP and just notching the slider back one or two
usually did the trick, however not all graphics cards have this option.
I think we have gone full circle with Windows 10, based on some of the
others things I have spotted with win10. Perhaps MS are hoping theres a
new breed of newbies to keep busy. :D

If the GPU is on the mobo it may be possible to dedicate more memory to
it in the BIOS setting. If it's separate card, probably not...
