String resource problem in 1180
Friedrich,
On 30-May-2005 I described the following in 1151:
"...recompiled an existing script. Dialogs now display the resource
identifier. For example, the Welcome dialog displays #RSC DLG WELCOME TEXT#,
which is used for Instructions, and the license agreement displays #DLG
LICENSE AGREEMENT#, rather than the RTF."
I have the identical behavior in 1180.
There is no sample script. The behavior seems to occur when a pre-existing
script used with an earlier build is recompiled in 1180.

Re: String resource problem in 1180
Mark,
Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce this :-( All our in-house scripts were
created
with a very old #1013 and work fine when compiled with #1180.
I'll check the source code again.
Thanks,
Friedrich

Re: String resource problem in 1180
Mark,
I still had your script available. I compiled it with #1180 and the Welcome
dialog displays #RSC DLG WELCOME TEXT# (see mark1.gif screen-shot).
There was a compiler fix in build #1182 - I recompiled your script with an
internal #1188 (production release 1) and it worked fine (see mark2.gif
screen-shot).
