    Re: Register immediately or later?

Still just asking about the order in which files will be registered by the "Register all pending...". Will it be done in the order in which the files are installed?

    Re: Register immediately or later?

I've read that a DLL that depends on another file will not register unless the other file has already been registered. Hence I am asking about the...

Re: DLL not registering -- Win7

In my case the Pending action can never be cleared because it is trying to replace a protected file so will always fail.

So I presume the Pending action will still be there after future restarts?...

When installing DLLs I can tell SB8 to register immediately, or wait to the end of the script and tell SB8 to Register All pending files.

    1. Is there an advantage in Reg Immediately?

    Re: Win7 64bit registry problem

I think this "problem" was nothing to do with Win7 64 bit in particular, but just me trying to install something the operating system didn't allow (and Win7 File Protection is possibly more picky...

    Date/Time/Version replace

When installing a file there are options to Always replace, or if Date more recent, or if Date/Version more recent.

What happens if the filedate (last modified I guess?) is more recent, but the...

Re: DLL not registering -- Win7

I do not understand (yet) what is happening, but I have sorted out the original problem.

I've removed any mention of expsrv.dll from SB8 Install script. And deleted the Registry entry for...

    Re: Files not uninstalled

    Hi Friedrich

Many thanks. The demo "almost" works :-)
