Yes, it worked. Didn't see that reply before I had sent the answer :) You're too fast Friedrich :)
This returns 1044 for me, which is according to your manual: Norwegian (Bokmal) 1044
Now, my current language setting in Windows IS 1044 Norwegian, but my Windows installation is in English. And...
Thanks!
Is it also possible to get the language of the Windows install? (Not current selected language, but which language version of the OS was installed)
I need to figure out if user is on Windows XP, and which service pack.

Windows SP2 is actually available for complete download from:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=049C9DBE-3B8E-4F30-8245-9E368D3CDB5A&displaylang=en

While we're at this topic, optimally I'd like a feature that lets me add Windows SP2 as a PreReq. But I don't want to bundle it with the installation, but only install it if it is available from the...

I have a web update script which updates our software to latest version. For all files I use the patching process with multiple previous versions.
We had a problem with one of the files, and I...
Thanks, I'll try that!
I'd like to use a variable in my Install File Source Folder parameter, but it doesn't seem to be possible.
Is there any chance of adding this?
Yes, I got that message too, but it crashed when the compilation was done. Will send the script to you, but cannot include all the files I'm afraid.
Also note that all my files was over a network share. The problemfile was a non-existing directory (\\server\blah\blah\non-existing-dir\filename)
Haven't chance to do it where I am now, but try the following:
Add a few files to Previous File Versions, and let one of them be a non-existing file.
Compile :)
With my recent File Path update, I had a small typo that lead to a wrong filename for one of the earlier patch version files. This lead to a crash during compilation.
I tried using the Convert File Source Paths, and it didn't convert the paths in File Properties->Patch filenames.
Btw, congratulations on the final release!
Found one under HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

Now the next question, the main application inserts a uninstall here, and I see it has the correct...
I can't seem to find these Uninstall sections in the registry. What is the exact path?
You check this version in the WebUpdate program, and I went to see its source (quite cool, btw, that this is written IN SetupBuilder :). There I see you fetch the current version from...

I thought I'd add support for multiple-version binary patching.
First, I love the Perform Auto-Scan feature. The problem is that I can only use it for the first version of my software. It would...
I try to create a web shortcut in the Programs folder, but it doesn't appear. Creating shortcuts on the Desktop works fine. Is this a known problem?
