Small setup.exe size
We are currently using InstallShield to install our software products. We are in the process of releasing new software. Several small utility programs will be available for download from our website. Each must have their own install program.
These utilities are quite small. However, the install programs tend to be much larger than the files they hold. One utility is less than 80k, yet the InstallShield install program is 1.9mb!
What is the expected SetupBuilder 5 setup.exe size?

If the utility is < 80 KB (binary data), it compresses to ~45 KB. The SetupBuilder 5 setup.exe (including scripting engine, GUI wizards, bitmaps, license agreement, and uninstaller) should be around 150 KB.

What's the expected setupbuilder 4 installer size?

The setup.exe should be around 190 KB in size. SetupBuilder 5 uses a smart linking technology to make your installer as possible. SB4 does not provide such a feature.
