    Default Detecting Windows Server OS

    Hi,

Just wanted to double-check if the "Get System Information" function with Windows Product Type selected is the best choice for determining if I am installing my application on any of the MS Windows Server OS's (Server 2000/2003/2008 family).

I want to be able to externally run a certain program based on whether the install is taking place on a Windows server or not.

    Thanks,
    Doug

    Doug,

Try Get System Information (Windows Product Type). If the function returns $VER_NT_SERVER$ then the system should be a server.
