Hi Friedrich,

I have a webupdate built in 5.6 - works great, no problem.

Now I need to do some heavy duty testing on a single machine and I
don't want to have that install mixed in with the one that's on the
server so I'm going to put that into a separate folder on the server.

Am I right that all I would need to do on that one test machine is to
change the HOST_DIRECTORY in the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Lindersoft\WebUpdate\A pps\{GUID comes
here} key in order to change the path? It will be on the same server,
same everything, except just the path. I only need this on this one
machine so I can test SQL updates that are absolutely critical and I
don't want anyone else to download it by accident until I've tested it
thoroughly

Best regards,
