    Default Create a .lnk file

I would like to create a link file from within the install. This would be installed as a file. Is this possible?

    Hello,

I assume you would like to create a Shortcut, correct? You can use the "Create Shortcut..." script function or the Shortcuts Visualizer.

    Does this help?

The Visualizer lists specific files where you can place a link. I would like to place the link file in a location that is not listed under "shortcuts", i.e. %MYFOLDER% which is not on the desktop, start menu, send to, quick launch... If you highlight "Shortcuts", you cannon at a folder under it.

    Hello,

See attached screenshot. You can use the "Create Shortcut..." script function to handle this.

    Does this help?
