Default SetupBuilder 7.2 "Archive Integrity Check Failed" on just one computer

Using SetupBuilder 7.2 Developer, I have an installation file that
contains a Visual C# program and related files.

The installation works fine on several different computers but on one
the user is getting an "Archive Integrity Check Failed" message box
with "SetupBuilder 7.2" in the title bar. After clicking that, it
    exits back to window explorer.

I recompiled the programs and generated a new installation set which
was tested on my and other computers as OK. However with that one
computer, it still gives the same Archive Integrity Check Failed
    message.

The problem machine as reported by user is:
    Microsoft XP
    Home Edition
    Version 2002
    Service Pack 3
    AMD Turioun 64 Mobile P
    Technology ML 32
    2G Ram
    HP Laptop

The fact that the exact same file works on others tells me it
something about that one computer but what should I look for?

    Thanks in advance!

    Bad download.
Which is the main reason it's a good idea to leave that enabled.
Have the user download again or snail mail him a CD.

Agreed. I can't think of a single reason to not have the installer check itself.

There is no need to recompile the setup.exe because that's not what causes
it. The user received a corrupt or incomplete installation. Similar to a
1,000 byte ZIP archive where the user only received 986 bytes.

I assume it's caused by his Internet connection or the anti-virus system.
If he already downloaded the same file several times and you are 100% sure
it's not a corrupt setup.exe on your web server (FTP upload problem), I
would suggest to upload a ZIPed version of the setup.exe and ask him to
    download that one.

Code-sign the setup.exe and let him verify the code-signature (select file,
right-click, select Properties, select Digital Signatures tab, click Details
    button).

The file in question is being copied from our in office network. The
file on the network is OK because I copied it back to my computer and
used it for my verification that the installation program is OK.

I will going ahead an code sign the setup.exe to make sure that he is
not having some kind of network problem. Also think that I will have
him place his copy back onto the network and let me use that to test
    again.

Assuming that the above does not show anything, what's next?

From the setup.exe side-of-view, there is no "next" <g>. If the "archive
integrity check failed", then the contents of the file at application
execution time is not the contents of the file that was sent. It's even
possible that a "protection" software product (e.g. anti-virus scan) changes
the contents of the file during a real-time virus check, etc.

Ok, that is kind of what I suspected. I was kind of hoping that maybe
someone had heard of a case where some other program interfered or
    something (wishful thinking<g>).

Just to make sure the file is not issue, I am going to have him try to
install again and then send me that same file to test. Then will try
having him disable anti-virus to see if that helps.

    Thanks for your help!

    Barton,

What about asking him to disconnect his AV before downloading ?
