Default Redistributable manager: SQL Express edition, but 2008 R2?

    Hi there Friedrich,

We're looking for a redistributable SQL 2008 R2, preferrably in X86/X64 variants. More specifically, we need the Database with Advanced Services install.

Currently we supply a separate install for this, but we would like to incorporate it in our general installer. Every consultant, regardless if they're our own guys or consultants of our resellers, have a USB stick that contains the latest and greatest. We would love that to be only one installer so we can keep track of just that one installer instead of several.

How is this done? Does Lindersoft create these redist packages? Can you help out here?

I mean the utmost right selection on this webpage:

    Thanks for your insights!

The Core PreRequisites in SB7 have include scripts (with full source codes) for SQL Server 2008 available. It should be possible for you to modify the scripts in such a way that you can redistribute the R2 (Database with Advanced Services) package.

    Does this help?

    Friedrich
