Odd messages when opening script files

Since the most recent update (7.5.3378) every script file I open for the
first time posts a file inconsistency warning message. I click "Yes" to
allow the issues to be fixed and then 5 additional "Problem fixed!"
messages are posted in succession.

The script then seems to open just fine.

If I close the script immediately I am prompted to save the changes. Of
course I do save.

Subsequent opening of the script file behaves normally and as expected.

After these "fixes" everything seems to be normal again.

Have I done something to cause all this?
