Default Run Program - Redirect Stdout Stderr

    Hello,
Is it possible to redirect stdout and stderr from an application that is launched with Run Program?

    e.g. Run Program c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe /c dir >> c:\foo.log

    "foo.log" doesn't create.

    Thx.

    Hello,

Use the "Run Command Line..." script function and you are done.

    Does this help?

Sorry, I'm not getting it. Here's an example of what I'm trying to do (attachment).

Stdout and stderr appear to get tossed.

    Thx.

See my previous message. I suggested to use the "Run Command Line..." function.

Your screenshot shows the "Run Program..." function and NOT "Run Command Line..."

    HTH,

My documentation must be way out of date and the Run Command must be buried. Can you point me to the command? Thx.

Aha, you still have 5.x. This is a SetupBuilder 6 feature.

Use your serial number and maintenance key and install SetupBuilder 6. You should have received a "subscription notification" yesterday or this morning. Both SB5 and SB6 can coexist on the same machine.

    See attached screenshot.

    Does this help?
