Thread: Cool Tool

That Mark Russinovich is such a smarty-pants.

I hadn't seen this Swiss Army Knife before - checks code signature, dumps
manifest, and submits a file to VirusTotal all with one command....

But C8 is so...... last year!<g>

Just made it to that group. As I recall there were some problems with
printer properties with one or two builds of C8 and this problem with
it working using the PrinterDialog and not with properties seems to be
part of that recollection. Have you tried the same code with C9 or
    some other build of C8?

See, I pay attention... once my attention is nudged! HUH?!<g>

No. I was expecting that there'd be an update to 9 gold some months ago,
and thought I'd wait for that.

Guess I'll install the current version of 9 in a VM and try it.

After posting, I did try compiling this demo app in C6 9056, and it runs
correctly on the Win 8.1. machine. So I guess this is my impetus to stop
    waiting for gold-plus-one...LOL...

    Thanks guys,

    Jane

    It's true!

btw, I had downloaded this app in 2010, but don't remember what made
    me do it.
