Default SB5 #1109 will be released on Monday

    [Friday, April 15, 2005 5:51 PM]

Just wanted to let everyone know that the SB5 #1109 will be released on
Monday. We have added a few more fixes, and want to be able to regress
    test them over the weekend.

    Features/Improvements/Fixes/Workaround/Changes/Notes:

    IMPROVEMENT: Minor IDE enhancements
IMPROVEMENT: Add "#msgbox" Script Management function
IMPROVEMENT: Uninstall does not prompt you to browse for the log file in
order to proceed with the uninstall if the uninstall .log is
    located in the same folder
IMPROVEMENT: Add "License Key Demo.sb5" script to demonstrate how to use
two different sets of serial numbers
FIX : "Configure ODBC Data Source" function did not write to the
    uninstall .log
FIX : Under certain circumstances the Uninstaller did not load the
correct language module when using multiple languages
FIX : "Unregister OCXs/DLLs" script item could not be deleted
FIX : Possible OCX self-registration problem
FIX : Possible "SetupBuilder 5.0 Help" problem
    FIX : Minor compiler fixes
CHANGE : Compiler can detect http:// tag in iDeploy Host Name
CHANGE : Feature and Sub-Feature handling follows the Microsoft Windows
    Installer convention now

Thanks and have a great weekend!

    Regards,

It was rumored that a manual (PDF) was coming soon. Is that after 1109?

We'll compile a PDF (based on the .chm) later next week.

Anything further on the minutes long delete + disappearing UI + delete to
    recycle bin?

This weekend we have included the SB5 disk-spanning module. The compiler
can now generate "smart" multiple-volume installation images.

We'll need another 24 hours to give it a stress test.

    No problem ;-) It's a built-in feature.
