    Default Smartscreen

    Hi
I'm writing to know something about the IE smartscreen blocking, that seems to happen because of not signed setup files.
We are running the version 8 fo setupbuilder and we would like to know what we are supposed to do in order to have our setup file safely download and executed by a web browser (IE first)

Is there a tutorial or a to-do-list to follow? what are the detailed steps we need to perform?

Thank you in advance for the help

    Speknoù,

You have to SHA-2 (or better "dual" SHA-1/SHA-2) code-sign your installers (and to be on the safe side, your application files).

Microsoft "disabled" SHA-1 in January 2016.

    SetupBuilder 10 supports SHA-2 and dual SHA-1/SHA-2 code-signing.

    Does this help?
