    Default BitDefender

    Hi,
Even though I have installer wrapped with certificate... after install my app
was quarantined by BitDefender so that it could not write to the hard drive.

Only after adding it to the allow list... by customer calling BitDefender
were we able to get it to run.

    Regards,
    -Tim

    Hi Tim,

you have to send your app file(s) to the BitDefender guys so they can fix the bug in their system. This false-positive scenario is not installer related but application file related. BTW, if I were you I would send all the files that BitDefender puts into quarantine to BitDefender so they can fix it in one go.

    Friedrich,
I have looked on the bitdefender site... it's large.
I can't figure out who to send the info to.

Do you have a contact there?
Most of the website is for "customers" or "partners" who sell their software.

    Regards,
    -Tim

Never mind I did a site specific search in Google and found a form to submit it.
