Not the same as "Where's Waldo" but I'm still curious since Friedrich
hasn't posted since 16-May-2018, as far as I can tell.

Just want to be sure he's ok - I don't like the silence

This forum has been very quiet lately. I was working on some product
installs yesterday and was thinking I should check for updates for SB.
It tells me I have the last build, but it's from November 26, 2017
(build 10.0.5710) Is that right? Seems like a long time for F. not to
release updates.

He and the family have just gotten back from vacation and are just starting
to sift through the accumulated e-mail.

He usually posts that he is going to be offline for a period while they do
that, but this year he must have forgotten to give us warning.

Or he decided to just sneak off and go to that heavy metal concert like the
old guys who escaped from the nursing home!

Hello all,

Very sorry for my silence. Thanks so much for checking on me. I'm still
alive and kicking <g>. We had a great summer vacation and now I am back
knee deep in coding and solving long-standing issues. Quite a few old SB
components and runtime functions have been re-written from scratch. And
some functions have been enhanced. I'll release a first version of
SetupBuilder 2018 this month to support SSL / TLS and make SetupBuilder
ready for C11 (for third-party developers). BTW, adding support for SSL /
TLS was not a trivial task (more than 45,000 lines of new Clarion and C++
source codes in the runtime and compiler modules). On top of this, SSL
components require specific VC++ runtime core components to be pre-installed
on the target system, but an installer should never rely on a specific
pre-installed VC++ runtime! So I had to find a solution to this problem.

Again, my sincere apologies for the silence. You'll hear from me again soon
(product announcements, SSL/TLS tips and tricks, updated Core PreRequisites,
Comodo deals, etc.).
