All,
we'll make a first SetupBuilder 2018 Build #600x release available this
coming weekend to support SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). This ensures that all
data passed between the web server (https) and the SetupBuilder installer
remain private and integral.
BTW, we'll provide SSL components without dependencies to other runtime
libraries; your customers do not have to install a special VC++ runtime
before running your SSL-enabled installer or update. It's even backward
compatible with Windows XP. Stay tuned for more information soon.
