Default Compiler error GEN1053: Code signing process failed. Error Code: 1

I just went to recompile because their was a new file that needed to be
    included. However setup builder
required me to update setup builder. After updating I recompiled and got
    this message.

Compiler error GEN1053: Code signing process failed. Error Code: 1 .

Perhaps a problem with sign tool. What is the problem and how do I fix it.

    Thanks
    Gary

    A few things to check:

    1. Are you using a valid code-signing certificate (link to a non-expired
    ..pfx)?

    2. Is the password correct?

    3. Is the timestamp server accessible (not blocked by your firewall and not
    offline)?

    4. Are you sure a later Windows update did not remove pre-installed CapiCom
    components?

And on top of this, please check this:
