    [Saturday, April 23, 2005 12:27 AM]

Getting "Error GEN1017: Compression library error code: -200. Cannot open
and compress file C:\Windows\System32\MSVBVM60.DLL" during the compile of the script.

    Mark,

The file seems to be "locked" (in-use).

Im not surprised. However, most system dlls like the vb runtime are ALWAYS
in use. Wise never complained about copying it into the installer.

    Mark,

If it is "locked" than I believe Wise can also not "open" this file. What
happens if you use Windows Explorer to copy this file to a temporary
location? Does this work? Error -200 is reported if the Windows CreateFile
API (to open a file) fails.

    Mark,

Just tested this on XP Pro and Home. If MSVBVM60.DLL is not in-use, both
SB5 and Wise can add the file. If MSVBVM60.DLL is in-use (locked), neither
SB5 nor Wise 9 can add the file.

    Mark,

By the way, Microsoft recommends to use VBRun60sp6.exe to install the VB
    core runtime files (e.g. Msvbvm60.dll).
