Default How to configure and use EV/OV eTokens in SetupBuilder 2025

SETUPBUILDER 2025 BETA DOCUMENTATION AND INSTRUCTIONS ARE NOT AVAILABLE YET

Apologies, everyone! The instructions for SetupBuilder 2025 aren’t fully completed yet. Our main goal was to release the beta today, and we’ve done that! Updated documentation will be available in the next beta build, with more detailed info coming over the next few days. Need help or have questions? Feel free to reach out to me directly at friedrich@lindersoft.com.

    1. Install SetupBuilder 2025 and start the Integrated Development (IDE).

    2. Select "Help" > "Get SignInstall (x86 or x64) for SetupBuilder".

Select the 2nd "Certificate Configuration" SBSIGN.INI (IDE_SBSIGN = eToken Autosign) option for non-SafeNet eTokens.

Select the 3rd "Certificate Configuration" SBSIGN.INI (IDE_CODESIGN = Custom Command Line) option for SafeNet Tokens!!!!!!

SafeNet eTokens only: Use the following in your SafeNet Authentication Client:

The tool to configure your non-SafeNet and SafeNet tokens has been completely written in SetupBuilder 2025.

Select your certificate from the list, enter your PIN/Password in the entry field and press the "Configure SBSIGN.INI" for non-SafeNet or SafeNet eTokens.

Click "Copy Thumbprint into Clipboard" and paste it to the "Software Publisher Certificate" entry field in Options.

Then Exit the wizard and close the Options dialog.

    5. Enable Digital Signature in "General Information" in your project.
