Thread: Patching on *.*

  1. #1

    Default Patching on *.*

    Hi Friedrich.

I've got a project where I include files with directory\*.*. This is great,
because any fluctuations in the number of files doesn't disturb the
installer - it builds everything in the directory. But I want to build
patch now. I've been mucking about for a little bit know, and it seems
patching on oldFilesDirectory\*.* is a no go. Is that the case?

    Cheers,
    Kyle

    Kyle,

The compiler has no idea which file to patch if you specify wildcards. But
if you have SB5 Developer Edition, you can use the Auto Update Scan Wizard
    to generate your patch script.

    Does this help?

    Friedrich
