    Default Update "Patch" support

    Hi,

We have we have a lot of trouble with the InstallShield X patch mechanism. This is killing my support department with calls from customers.

Does SetupBuilder 5 support update patching? If yes, is scriping available in such a patch?

    Default Re: Update "Patch" support

    Hello,

Yes, SetupBuilder 5 provides a comprehensive binary-patch solution for the generation and application of product updates and upgrades. It lets you create update installations as patches rather than full reinstalls.

Scripting is available in patch installations.

    HTH,
