Thread: SB5 / Atomic Clock Time Test

  1. #1

Default SB5 / Atomic Clock Time Test

    All,

I have added a new SB5 (Developer Edition) function to support the retrieval
    of the Atomic Clock time.

Please download and run the following test installer (120 KB):

    http://www.lindersoft.com/Aclock.zip

    1. The installer displays a Welcome dialog

    2. Click Next

    3. The installer displays a Connect to Internet dialog

    4. Click Next

    5. The installer displays a "This installer will connect to a time server to
get the atomic time now." message.

    6. The installer displays a Result message box (includes the Atomic Date ID,
    Time and installer Errorcode)

    7. The installer expiration date is 2005/07/21. Even if you reset your
computer clock, you should see the following message now:

    "This is a test message!

    Demo version expired on 21-July-2005

You cannot install this product any longer. Please contact your software
    house."

    8. If you do not allow to connect to the atomic time server, you'll see the
    following:

    "This is a test message!

Cannot connect to the Atomic Time Server

You cannot install this product. Please contact your software house."

Does this work on your machine(s)?

    Thanks,
    Friedrich

It worked great. Now to set the PC's date and time from this. The time is
in Greenwich as expected. One thing is for sure, there are a lot of ways to
    use it.

    Thanks,
