    Default Check for Documentation updates...

    Hi,
    When I click the Check for Doc updates... I receive the following message:

    Administrator permissions are required to use this feture ion Vista/2008 etc
    etc...

    I´m running as Administrator, whats the prblem?

    No, the application is *NOT* running with administrator permissions ;-)
    It's running "asInvoker". There is a fundamental difference between
    administrator rights and administrator execution level privileges!

    The underlying Winsock component is only available for applications running
    with administrator execution level privileges (app running elevated). So
    you have to start SetupBuilder "as administrator" (right-click the shortcut
    and select "Run as Administrator") and you are done.

    Thats what I´m doing...
    (right-click the shortcut and select "Run as Administrator")
    same message... :-(

    I think you are running an older SetupBuilder version. If updating to the
    latest version does not help, then I have no idea.

    We have not received any similar report.

    By the way, if this message is displayed then the application is not running
    elevated (for whatever reason). The Winsock component is not accessible in
    this case.

    mmhhh may be, I´ve updated to the 6.9 version and doing the same thing, it
    upgrades ok.

    Yes, there were many Vista and Windows Server 2008 improvements in the
    latest 6.7 - 6.9 updates. SetupBuilder 6.9 is fully Vista(SP1)-aware.
