Default Wish: Bookmarks in the script editor

    Hi!

I'd find it really useful to be able to bookmark/flag certain lines within a script so that a single keypress would progress through/jump to the flagged lines.

For example, my scripts can have a lot of logic in them, and the definition of a custom dialog can be many pages away from the wizard loop logic behind it. It would make it much easier to work with if I could set a bookmark at both locations, then just press the 'next bookmark' key to instantly toggle between them. Functionality similar to the TextPad text editor using F2, etc.

I can sort of fake it at the moment by adding extra, unique comments (e.g, 'XYZ' ,etc.) but it would be slicker to have it built-in. Really slick would also being able to pop up a list of bookmarks that shows the text for each bookmarked line and be able to select/jump from the list. That would make it much easier to segment/manage complex scripts.

    Thanks,
    Tom

    Hi Tom,

Cool idea. I'll give it some thoughts.

    Thank you for your suggestion!

Hey, never any shortage of ideas here.

And you know how simple my scripts tend to be...
