Default Locating KNOWNFOLDERID using Windows search

    Hi All,

Having an *old age* brain fart today.

What do you type into the Windows 7 search field to find the location
path to a CSIDL folder on that particular computer?

    Thanks.

If you're referring to %APPDATA% then that's how you get there.

This isn't exactly a KNOWNFOLDERID. This is just expanding the system
    environment variable.

You can go to a command prompt and type "SET" then press [ENTER] to
see the various environment variables that you can use for that.

This is not necessarily the same as the APIs available for translating
    a CSIDL.

    Thanks Jeff....

I tried that with %COMMON_DOCUMENTS% and didn't get the results I
expected so I figured I must have done something wrong.
