EV Hardware and CodeSigning > Error Code 1

I recently obtained an EV Hardware type certificate, and it seems every time I change the certificate I have to revisit GEN1053 Error Code 1 !

Sectigo certificate, using SafeNet client.

I can sign successfully using this command as shared in another thread....

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Lindersoft\Set...oper\Lib\signtool" sign /tr http://timestamp.sectigo.com /td sha256 /fd sha256 /n "Paul MacFarlane" /a "C:\Data\Test\My.exe"

But, using SB settings:


I get.....


Anyone see what I'm doing wrong?

I also have SafeNet set so that I only have to login once - I run a batch file to trigger that.



Any ideas?

Hi Paul,

do you have an empty password field in the SetupBuilder (project based) code-signing page?

BTW, try "http://timestamp.sectigo.com" as timestamp server(s).
